Well everyone seems to ask 'bout him so here is his reply from the last round of emails sent out.

Hi, Xeno.

I miss you guys, too.  Sorry I've been gone so long, but things haven't
been so good and it's been almost impossible for me to get online for IRC.

I don't know if you know about it, but I tried to set up a 1TB server.  I
got the hard drives and 2 weeks later three of them went out on me.  After
that it was one thing after another with the computer for about two months
with everything going wrong that I have ever seen go wrong and a lot of
things that I had never seen before in 10 years of computer building.  To
top it off, I ran out of money to spend on computer parts real quick.

Then, last June, we bought a house of our own and moved, so that turned
everything topsy-turvy for a while.  We couldn't have done that without
help from my parents.

Just when things started to settle down, in August, my father died.
Beforehand and afterward, I spend some time out of town at my parents' home.

The final blow came when my main computer's motherboard decided that after
8 years it was tired of working and took out the power supply and a hard
drive with some irreplaceable data on it when it went out.  Still no extra
money to fix computers available, so this was a major problem for me.  I am
now using my wife's computer with some of the parts from my old one added
to upgrade it until I can finally afford to rebuild mine.  Until then, I'm
stuck with a shared computer that I can't dedicate to any one use. :(

I don't even have AIM loaded on this one because my wife hates it.  She
tells me it's ok to load it, but she always yells about it when it is
loaded and it is her computer so I don't feel right about putting it on
here. 0_o

I do think about you guys and I do miss the anime and manga connection.
I'm hoping to eventually get my computer woes resolved and get back online,
but I have no idea when that will happen.  Tell everyone hello for me and
that I'm not dead. ~_^
