Installing a File Serve(r) on IRC is easy.

There are many Fserves to choose from, but I recommend that you use SysReset . Just go here and download the current version. With the new version it comes with the shareware version of mIRC. so you only have to download one thing. Just double click on the sysreset.exe and an onscreen install wizard should pop up.
You will have to agree to a sysreset license terms of usage agreement, which says.. I don't know, never read it. Just accept.
Next up is the Installer asking where to install the fserve files. I always put programs in the Program Files folder, just so it doesn't seem so cluttery when I'm looking around on my computer. Put it wherever you want to. Read the tips and click Install. Sit back and let it finish.
SysReset is now installed on your system.
Find where you installed it and look in the folders, you will find a help file that will explain a lot about the many choices on the Fserve menu. So start it up by clicking on the mIRC icon and flip back to the help file to help you familiarize yourself with some of the options.
